American Blackjack - Novomatic
American Blackjack is an adaptation of Novomatic's traditional blackjack game that gives players a chance to test their skills in one of the casino's most popular card games. This version of blackjack uses standard rules specific to American poker, with the ability to double the rate, split cards and insurance.
The game begins with the player placing a bet and receiving two cards. The dealer also receives two cards, one of which opens. The player's task is to collect a hand that will be as close as possible to 21 points, not exceeding this value. Aces are rated as 1 or 11, and cards with the image are rated as 10 points. In case the amount of points on the hands of the player and dealer is 21, this is called blackjack, and the player receives a payment depending on the bet.
American Blackjack has several key features:
- Insurance: Players can bet extra on insurance if the dealer has an ace card open. If the dealer turns out to have blackjack, insurance helps to return part of the rate.
- Double: If a player has a strong hand, they can double their bid with only one extra card.
- Split: If a player receives two identical cards, they can split them into two separate hands and continue the game with an extra bet.
Players can choose whether to accept an additional card or stay with the current combination. A Pass feature is also available for giving up play and losing half a bet if the hand is too weak.
The main goal of the game is to defeat the dealer by collecting a card amount close to 21, but not exceeding it. If the player's hand exceeds 21, he loses the bet.
